Enjoy your show!

Whether you are going to a sold out concert at Elliott Hall of Music or attending a conference panel discussion at Fowler Hall, we want you to have a memorable experience that keeps you coming back to Purdue University again and again.  Below are a few tips that will make your experience more enjoyable.

Can I bring a bag into the venue?

All bags are subject to a security search, which creates a slower entry process. No large bags are permitted. We encourage you to leave your personal items at home.

Can I bring food or drink into the venue?

Elliott Hall of Music or Loeb Playhouse: No outside food or beverages are permitted. However, concessions are available for purchase and enjoyment throughout these venues.

Fowler Hall: Food and beverages are not permitted or sold in Fowler Hall. However, water in a sealed container is permitted.

What time do the doors open before a performance?

Doors generally open 30 minutes prior to show time. Please visit the event page for the most accurate information.

What if I’m late for the show?

Please allow plenty of time to arrive at all performances. As a courtesy to the performers and other audience members, we cannot immediately seat patrons who arrive after the beginning of the performance. Latecomers will be seated at an appropriate break in the performance, as determined by the artists.

Can I photograph or record the show?

The use of cameras, cell-phone cameras, video cameras and recording equipment of any kind are prohibited unless by special permission of Convocations and the artists. Flash photography is prohibited at all times.

Can I bring my phone or pager into the theater?

Yes, but please remember to turn off or silence all electronic devices before the performance begins.
