Dear colleagues,

As you may recall, in March 2020 President Daniels announced the creation of the Purdue for Life Foundation, an organization designed to deepen ties to alumni and to drive and coordinate all alumni-facing activities for the University. The vision is to unite the University's fundraising function (which includes the John Purdue Club, President's Council, and University Development) with its alumni engagement function within one integrated entity.

I'm pleased to report that on March 31, 2021, the Purdue Alumni Association reached terms of agreement for a partnership through which the Purdue for Life Foundation will manage operations for the University's alumni engagement function. Effective April 1, the Purdue Alumni Association staff has joined the Purdue for Life Foundation to carry out those activities. Jillian Henry has been named Vice President of Engagement for Purdue for Life.

The Purdue Alumni Association will continue with its core function of managing the election of three alumni trustees for the Purdue University Board of Trustees. You can learn more about the Purdue for Life Foundation at purdueforlife.org.
