Mark your calendar for 2023 benefits enrollment

Faculty and staff’s annual opportunity to select their benefits will take place later this fall. The 2023 benefit open enrollment period is Oct. 25-Nov. 8. Human Resources – Benefits understands that these are big decisions for any individual or family, so they are providing plenty of time to prepare. Faculty and staff will receive a weekly benefits email to help them understand their options and evaluate the plans.

Purdue, Duke Energy lecture series on nuclear energy to start Aug. 30

Purdue University and Duke Energy will host the first monthly installment of the “Understanding Tomorrow’s Nuclear Energy” lecture series from 4-5 p.m. ET on Aug. 30 in Stewart Center’s Fowler Hall. Registration is now open for “Clean Nuclear Energy: Past, Present, and Future,” which will provide an overview of nuclear reactor technologies.

Purdue welcomed its newest Boilermakers to the West Lafayette campus during its annual Boiler Gold Rush International and Boiler Gold Rush orientation programs. More than 8,000 incoming students participated. Students moved into their University housing Aug. 12 and Aug. 14-16, and the BGR/BGRi programming followed.
