Campus testing center, vaccine clinic to close May 13

Purdue University announced Thursday (May 5) that it will close its West Lafayette COVID-19 testing center and vaccine clinic, located in the Córdova Recreational Sports Center (Co-Rec), as of 4 p.m. May 13.

Purdue, Ivy Tech partner on next-generation microelectronics workforce

Purdue University and Ivy Tech Community College are partnering to help meet the future workforce needs in microelectronics, a field that is expected to add more than 100,000 workers over the next decade. The agreement will provide a variety of collaborative educational opportunities for faculty and students in microelectronics and will explore ways to attract more talent to this area.

2021 impact report: Telling the stories of Purdue University

One year after launching a new brand vision, Purdue began 2021 full speed ahead, united to position, promote and protect the University. In October, Purdue joined the ranks of Nike, 3M and McDonald’s on Fast Company magazine’s inaugural list of Brands That Matter — the only university to be recognized. Purdue Polytechnic High School student to compete on world stage

One year ago, Asumani Gregoire Kalupala used a computer for the very first time. In May, the freshman at Purdue Polytechnic High School will compete at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas. More than 11,500 high school teams from 40 countries compete in matches throughout the school year, with 800 teams qualifying for the world event.
