COACHE job satisfaction survey to launch in February

Faculty and lecturers will again be invited to participate in the COACHE job satisfaction survey. The Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) survey will launch the week of Feb. 7. This will be the fourth time Purdue is participating.

Kenneth R. Feinberg

Presidential Lecture Series guest to discuss his role leading 9/11 victims fund, others spawned by tragedies

Washington, D.C., attorney Kenneth R. Feinberg might not be well-known beyond the Beltway. But his remarkable work the past 35 years as the nation’s leading mediator in the most complex disputes and compensation claim cases certainly is. Feinberg will join President Mitch Daniels as part of the Presidential Lecture Series at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 1) in Stewart Center’s Loeb Playhouse and via livestream.

Boilermaker Track to Teaching: A clear, quick path to teacher licensure

For some students, becoming a teacher is the career path they always planned. For others, the decision to enter the teaching profession comes later in their undergraduate studies. A newly launched College of Education program will provide an additional career option for current undergraduate students, while also addressing the critical teacher shortage in Indiana.

Purdue’s online engineering remains among the nation’s elite in the newest U.S. News & World Report rankings of the Best Online Programs. The rankings, released Tuesday (Jan. 25), have Purdue in the No. 1 spot in four specific categories, and the university’s full array of online engineering programs is at No. 3 for the second year in a row.
