Campus community conference to focus on student potential

The Office of the Provost and the Division of Diversity and Inclusion on Sept. 3 will co-lead a campus community conference called “Maximizing Student Potential.” The initiative is one of five themes that make up the Purdue Teaching and Learning Excellence Initiative Road Map.

New faculty

New WL faculty members welcomed, introduced with brief profiles

President Mitch Daniels held a reception for new faculty members on the West Lafayette campus on Aug. 13 at the Spurgeon Club in Mackey Arena. New faculty on Aug. 15 participated in orientation, which included presentations on diversity and inclusion, tenure and promotion, and faculty partnerships with technology; breakout sessions on students, research and campus climate; and an information fair.

New technology may help
