Need help with BoilerKey, Purdue email, connecting to the PAL 3.0 wireless system, resetting a password? ITaP will assist students, faculty and staff with those things and more in pop-up help desks under tents positioned around campus every day from Friday (Aug. 16) to Aug. 23.

Campus construction continues into fall semester

Significant progress was made on a number of new construction and renovation projects on the West Lafayette campus over the summer. In addition, some interior and exterior maintenance and repair work was completed. Several projects will continue into the fall semester.

Invasive pests kill many trees each year -- equal to 5 million car emissions

Invasive insects and pathogens have wreaked havoc on ash, elm, chestnut trees and others, wiping some of them almost completely from American forests. In addition to the ecological impact, a Purdue University study shows that the carbon storage lost to these pests each year is the same as the amount of carbon emitted by 5 million vehicles.

Pursing the road less traveled is often the route of an entrepreneur. Purdue graduate Abishek Murali forged ahead bypassing the traditional post-college career path and took a giant leap by starting Leo Aerospace. Leo Aerospace aims to revolutionize access to space for those looking to launch small satellites about the size of toasters, weighing up to 25 kilograms, or about 55 pounds.
