Reminder: Complete physical, biometrics by June 30 to receive Healthy Boiler incentive pay in July

Third quarter activity for the 2019 Healthy Boiler Wellness Program – introduced in 2018 to promote wellness within the University community – ends June 30. The fourth and final quarter of the 2019 Healthy Boiler Wellness incentive initiative begins July 1 and ends Sept. 30.

Implantable devices and neurological diseases

Implantable neurostimulation devices are a common way to treat neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. One of the most commonly used elements in these devices is platinum microelectrodes – but it is prone to corrosion, which can reduce the functional lifetime of the devices. Purdue researchers have come up with a solution to help.
