June 30 deadline to complete physical, biometrics to receive Healthy Boiler incentive pay in July

Third quarter activity for the 2019 Healthy Boiler Wellness Program – introduced in 2018 to promote wellness within the University community – ends June 30. The fourth and final quarter of the 2019 Healthy Boiler Wellness incentive initiative begins July 1 and ends Sept. 30. Employees who complete their annual physical and upload their biometric information to the Healthy Boiler portal between April 1 and June 30 will receive incentive payments in July.

Purdue named finalist for innovation and economic prosperity award

The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities on Tuesday (June 4) named Purdue one of six universities as finalists for its seventh annual Innovation and Economic Prosperity University Awards. Purdue is a finalist for the association’s “Place” award for its ongoing initiatives resulting in social, cultural and community development. Purdue also is a finalist for the group’s top-prize award, Economic Engagement Connections.

EVPRP/Discovery Park social media featuring 150 years of research

Discovery Park and the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships are celebrating 150 years of research at Purdue by showcasing research stories from the Giant Leaps campaign. In June, the Discovery Park and Research@Purdue social media accounts will feature research in space exploration, artificial intelligence, health and longevity, and sustainable economy and planet as well as cross-cutting pieces focused on two or more of these areas.
