"Take the Next Giant Leap" is the call to action for this year's Purdue Day of Giving, a 24-hour online, social media-driven fundraising effort that invites faculty, staff, retirees, students, alumni, parents and friends to come together to grant opportunities.

Edgar Heinemann

Edgar Heinemann, a Purdue alumnus in industrial economics, left his footprint founding Centro Distribuidor, a supplier of pharmaceuticals and personal care products, along with his father in 1968. Heinemann also was named Guatemala’s 2016 Manager of the Year. Heinemann shares how his experience at Purdue helped him to make giant leaps.
