COACHE work groups requesting faculty feedback

Pump up your online muscle with strong passwords,
two-factor authentication

Strong passwords and two-factor authentication can help thwart cybercriminals from getting access to personal information and getting into the University systems, ITaP’s security staff says.

Most people know "123456" and "password" are terrible passwords. However, if your dog’s name is Buddy and your birthday is April 19, ‘buddy0419’ is also a bad password. Ideally, your password will be a jumble of at least eight characters – letters (uppercase and lowercase), numbers and symbols.
