Appointments, honors and activities

Faculty and staff honors:

- The Indianapolis Business Journal has named Julie Griffith, vice president for public affairs, a "2016 Woman of Influence." Griffith was honored Nov. 3 along with other recipients during a breakfast program in Indianapolis. The IBJ honors women from both the public and private sectors who have demonstrated professional excellence and leadership in their careers and community service. "Overseeing a multifaceted job that includes marketing, government and community relations, and managing Purdue's biennial budget request of over $300 million in annual operating funds, Griffith also is actively involved with the International Center of Indianapolis and other organizations," the IBJ said.
