President Mitch Daniels has announced a $5 million gift to enhance affordability for students from Indiana. The gift, being given anonymously, will have matching components that ultimately could mean more than $9 million in scholarship and other support for affordability, a key part of the University's Purdue Moves action agenda.
Faculty and staff news
Anthem representatives will be available at the West Lafayette campus several days this winter to meet one-on-one with employees about their 2014 Purdue medical coverage. Anthem is Purdue's 2014 medical plan administrator.

The Indiana Commission for Higher Education (ICHE) has formed a nominating committee to identify candidates to serve as a student commissioner.
The deadline for seniors to submit an application to Teach For America is Thursday (Feb. 20).
