Nutrition 2019

            This June, I traveled to Baltimore to attend the Nutrition 2019 conference. The Nutrition conference is the annual meeting of the American Society for Nutrition and is the largest annual meeting of nutrition scientists from academia, government, industry, and all other sectors. While at the meeting I attended many oral and poster sessions relevant to my area of research. I also presented an oral talk on my own research findings. I attended several networking opportunities, where I made many new connections and gained valuable insight into career paths I can take after I graduate. My travel to this meeting was supported by a grant from the Purdue Institute of Inflammation, Immunology, and Infectious Disease. Without this travel award, I would not have been able to attend this conference. Thank you to PI4D for the support!
