Building Deputies: Help prepare buildings for extreme cold weather

As a result of the forecasted extreme cold weather, Physical Facilities is asking Building Deputies to help prepare your buildings to best withstand the cold temperatures.

Please help address the following actions when possible, and ask that your building occupants do the same:

• Ensure all windows are closed
• Minimize the time exterior doors are open to the best of your ability
• Close (or where possible shut off) any lab fume hoods that are not currently in use

Also, remind your building occupants to report any water leaks immediately.
