Purdue Pete and mascots from about 40 other colleges and universities joined country singer Brad Paisley on Wednesday (Nov. 4) during a performance of Paisley's "Country Nation" at the 49th Annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards. Pete also helped open the awards evening on the red carpet. A video of the performance is here.
Pete already has appeared in the video for "Country Nation," which celebrates the blue-collar spirit and the nation's love of sports. More than two dozen college football team mascots are featured in the video, which is at www.vevo.com/watch/brad-paisley/Country-Nation/USAV61500087.
