Kronos upgrade training for supervisors

October 30, 2015

Supervisors who use Kronos to manage the time of their employees and/or themselves should have received Kronos Upgrade Information – Supervisors, a message describing the upcoming Kronos upgrade and the associated training and communication plan. Additional details regarding supervisor training available on the West Lafayette campus are available below.

Attendance at supervisor training is strongly encouraged due to the considerable coming changes. Supervisors are free to select from three training types:

* Info Sessions (ETM 100 – Kronos Upgrade Info Session)
Lecture-style information sessions/demos in a large group setting will provide an overview of the changes affecting users. Strong Kronos users may find this session (along with other reference documents) sufficient to understand the changes. Available via WebEx. Register whether you plan to attend via WebEx or in person.

* Experienced Supervisor Training (ETM 200u- Kronos Upgrade Supervisor Training (Experienced))
Hands-on training covering the changes that will take place when Kronos is upgraded to the newer version. Recommended for those comfortable with Kronos policies, processes and use, but looking for hands-on practice with the new version. Note: Final 30 minutes will be devoted to scheduling within Kronos. This portion of the session is optional.

* New Supervisor Training (ETM 200u – Kronos Upgrade Supervisor Training (New))
Hands-on training covering the supervisor basics in the Kronos system and the changes that will take place when Kronos is upgraded. Recommended for supervisors who would like a full refresher and/or those who have never been formally trained. Note: Final 30 minutes will be devoted to scheduling within Kronos. This portion of the session is optional.
