APSAC's Lovell series to present Will Miller on 'Healthy Leadership'

October 12, 2015

Will Miller, a local and national speaker on living life well, will provide insights seasoned with humor Oct. 26 in the Lovell Leadership Series, presented by the Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee.

Miller has titled his talk "Finding Balance While Striving: Healthy Leadership!" The event will be at 3 p.m. in Lawson Computer Science Building, Room 1142. APSAC presents a Lovell event each fall.

Everyone is invited to attend, with supervisor approval, but registration is required to attend the event in person. To reserve a seat for this session, go to the Lovell Leadership Lecture Series registration page. The event also will be streamed live at http://www.kaltura.com/tiny/na84e.

Miller draws upon a unique background to weave groundbreaking research with comedy. He has been a professional stand-up comedian and television personality, and he has found time to be an author and accumulate five graduate degrees. He has spoken thousands of times to meetings of large national corporations and organizations about living a well-adjusted life amid many stresses. He now is teaching Ethics in Communication in the Strategic Communication graduate program.

The Lovell Leadership Series was established in 2010 by the late C.W. "Bill" Lovell, professor of civil engineering for 45 years, who after retiring in 1993 took an active role as a Franklin Covey facilitator in Human Resources and promoted learning of leadership skills among Purdue staff members.
