Department of Health and Kinesiology to offer Cancer Wellness Program

Purdue's Department of Health and Kinesiology in partnership with the Lafayette YWCA is offering a Cancer Wellness Program.

The eight-week program, which is open to any cancer survivor, is a group-based physical activity program that will emphasize instruction in cardiorespiratory fitness, strength and flexibility training. The classes will meet from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays beginning Oct. 26 at the A.H. Ismail Center in Lyles-Porter Hall. The program is open to the Purdue and Greater Lafayette communities for a fee of $50. Parking in the Harrison Street Garage or street parking is available, and no parking permit is needed after 5 p.m.
