A Cut Flower Twilight Meeting was held at the Southwest Purdue Agricultural Center on July 15. Participants gained practical knowledge of cut-flower production through educational presentations and demonstrations. Visitors toured the cut-flower demonstration plots, and enjoyed making bouquet to take home. The event was supported by the Purdue University AgSEED project, Strengthening Purdue Extension’s Ability to Serve Indiana Cut Flower Farmers. As part of this initiative, the project team is organizing a series of cut-flower educational events across Indiana. Upcoming events will be held at the Purdue Small Farm Education Field Day and at Honey Bird Flower Farm in Indianapolis.
