Eighteen Growers Brave the Cold for Annual Fruit Pruning Workshop

Group of adults standing in a grassy vineyard between rows of leafless grapevines, listening to a speaker during an outdoor pruning or horticulture demonstration under an overcast sky.

The annual Fruit Pruning workshop was held at Meigs on March 18th. Miranda Purcell presented about grapevine pruning, Brian Schilling presented about apple pruning and Nikky Witkowski presented on bramble pruning. Eighteen participants braved the cold to start the event, and we all rejoiced when the sun came out at the end! Thanks to Summer Brinkman and the team of Educators that planned this event.
