한인 실어증 커뮤니티
The Korean Aphasia Community is a group established by the Aphasia Recovery Lab in collaboration with Korean-speaking clinicians. Persons with aphasia from linguistic minority backgrounds often encounter challenges accessing necessary resources and services.
Our mission is to cultivate a supportive environment, facilitate group-based conversations, and provide resources to Korean-speaking immigrants in the United States who are navigating difficulties associated with aphasia.
한인 실어증 커뮤니티는 퍼듀 대학교 실어증 연구소(Purdue Aphasia Research Lab)와 언어치료사들이 협력하여 설립한 단체입니다. 현재 미국에 거주하는 비영어권 이민자들을 위한 언어치료 서비스는 부족한 상태입니다.
우리의 목표는 실어증을 가진 한인 이민자들에게 그룹 프로그램을 제공하고, 격려하며 도움이 될 만한 정보를 전달하는 것입니다.
