I think the video for Part A is wrong on the angles. Would not theta equal the top left angle on the 12-5-13 triangle and thus the sin and cos are reversed of what they say? Same thing for the phi angle being equivalent to the top left angle of the 3-4-5 triangle.
I think you are right. You might want to just follow the procedure only.
