    1. As shown in the diagram, the small triangle next to F2 indicates that the horizontal and vertical components of the force have a ratio of 3:4.
      Therefore, the corresponding unit vector in the direction of the force has components 3/5 i + 4/5j, since the hypotenuse of a 3−4−5 triangle is 5.
      Since the force vector F2 points to the left and downward, both its x- and y-components are negative. Therefore, the unit vector in the direction of F2 is-3/5 i – 4/5j.
