Are we allowed to leave our answer in terms of pi? Since technically it is just a constant
I just put both to be sure. I would think in terms of pi should be fine though, but there is no harm to putting both.
I believe the answer has to be fully simplified.
since everything else in the problem is in terms of given variables it makes sense to leave it as pi, since none of the pi terms cancle it should be represented in the solution, not approximated.
It's easiest in my opinion to leave in terms of pi to avoid long decimals that will get in the way
