Promoting Your Event

If your Session is open to all students, they will be able to view the details about your Information Session on the Center for Career Opportunities Calendar and in MyCCO. Please consider the following additional ways to promote your event.

  • Send a flier to relevant Student Organizations.

  • Advertise your session in The Purdue Exponent, the independent student newspaper. Ads placed the day before or on the day of the presentation seem to get the most response.

  • Request a Resume Search in advance and personally invite candidates you find to be a good fit for your position(s).

  • If you are holding an information session the night before your interviews for candidates only, it is strongly suggested that you email all students on your schedules to invite them to attend.

If you have any additional questions about the promotion options listed above, please contact your CCO Employer Coordinator. You can find their contact information at the link here - Employer Coordinators.

If you have any questions regarding interviewing, please contact Paula Beaver at 765-494-8740 or pbeaver@purdue.edu.
