Promoting Your Event

Companies often want to know how to publicize their information session. Would you like your information session placed on the University Calendar and available to the public? If yes, please include your website information and a flyer (if you have one) in an email to your CCO contact.

The Center for Career Opportunities (CCO) is a great resource for creating visibility on campus. Information Sessions sponsored by the Center for Career Opportunities (CCO) will be posted to students online on the myCCO calendar, the student's version of NACElink. Please remember that companies are responsible for publicizing their information sessions. Your CCO Employer coordinator will be able to advise you. If you are unsure who your company's coordinator is, check the link here -  https://www.cco.purdue.edu/employers

You could also reach out to the various colleges, schools, or student organizations. Here is a link providing department contacts and student organization information - https://www.cco.purdue.edu/Employers/contactinfo?tab=Agriculture. The various colleges are listed under "Contact Info" on the left side of the page. Click on the appropriate college to see a list of contacts in each department.

Interviews

If you have any questions regarding interviewing, please contact Paula Beaver at 765-494-8740 or pbeaver@purdue.edu.

After your room has been secured, you will receive additional information from Purdue Conferences about how to submit payment. Payments can be made with a credit card or check. Please do not send any credit card information via email. You will receive a secure link to pay online when the time comes.

There are no refunds for cancellations.

Shipping

Will you be sending any materials for your information session? If so, you may ship them to -

128 Memorial Mall

ATTN: Mercedes Nixon-Palmer

STEW G32

West Lafayette, IN 47907

Please reference your company name and the information session date on the shipping label. We recommend arranging shipping so that materials arrive no less than four business days prior to the event. This is to ensure that they are delivered to the building where your event will be held.

If you are shipping materials, an email must be sent to infosessions@purdue.edu 4 business days prior to your information session to ensure delivery on the day of your session. Any requests made within 2 days of your session could result in the package not arriving.

Any materials for your interviews should be sent to your contact at the Center for Career Opportunities (CCO). Please reference the "Promoting Your Event" section above for help finding your CCO company contact.
