Tickets

Each candidate who plans to take part in commencement is guaranteed four guest tickets at no charge.

Additional ticket requests will not be granted due to class size and venue seating constraints. However, the livestream link will be available on the commencement website before the ceremony begins.

To request tickets, candidates need to specify the number of tickets being requested via myPurdue on the Commencement Task List by the published deadline.  See Key Dates to find out when the Commencement Task List will appear on your myPurdue portal.

  • Tickets will be sent to candidates via @purdue.edu email during the week of the ceremony.
  • All guests require a ticket.
    • Participating candidates do not require a ticket.
    • Every patron entering the hall must have a ticket to meet fire safety code standards.
  • Purdue University does not offer any guest tickets for sale.

Guest tickets may not be sold. Electronic tickets are generated with a unique identifier that is traceable back to the student who requested them.

Any attempt to sell or produce mass copies of electronic tickets will be considered a misuse of Purdue University property. Any and all such misuse of Purdue University property would result in the conduct being reported to the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, which may ultimately result in disciplinary action, on a case-by-case basis, and as deemed appropriate. Additionally, upon notification of or the receipt of information related to a student's misuse of allocated tickets, the Office of the Registrar reserves the right to reallocate any and all such tickets to other students.
