Your Role

It is essential to be knowledgeable about how to safeguard your work, improve opportunities for cooperation and transparency, and ethically share the results of your research.

Disclosures

Complete and update federal agency and Purdue disclosures. Review the federal requirements and Purdue University disclosure expectations when submitting a proposal or accepting funding.

Research Security Training and Certification

Purdue University faculty members involved in federally-funded research must complete research security training and a foreign talent recruitment plan certification. This mandatory training is necessary in order to satisfy new federal requirements that are intended to safeguard the academic research enterprise against the misappropriation of U.S. research and development.

ORCID ID

ORCID ID is a digital persistent identifier used by Purdue University. It provides a unique number that distinguishes you from every other researcher and ensures proper attribution and that your work is discoverable and connected to you throughout your career. ORCID ID also automates syncing with other profiles and ScienCV, saving you from entering repetitive data.

If you do not already have ORCID ID, get started here.
