Purdue named dual top producer by prestigious Fulbright Program

The Fulbright Program, the world’s most recognized and prestigious international exchange initiative, lists Purdue as a “dual top producer” of Fulbright faculty and student scholars for 2022-23. Purdue is one of only nine doctoral institutions in the country to receive this distinction, with the selection of 10 student scholars and six faculty scholars.

$10 million USDA grant targets more Midwestern seafood production

Purdue has received a five-year, $10 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to increase the production and consumption of seafood. With the USDA funding, Purdue researchers will build a pilot-scale integrated aquaponics system on campus, where some lab-scale components already exist, to produce tilapia and lettuce.
