In a new episode of “Step Inside,” meet three members of the Purdue University Dance Marathon (PUDM) and see what it takes to raise more than $10 million for the children and families of Riley Hospital for Children. Purdue for Life to hold tailgate party before championship game

The Purdue for Life Foundation is hosting an official tailgate party on Saturday (Dec. 3) at the Indiana Convention Center ahead of the Big Ten Football Championship game between Purdue and Michigan. Take part in giveaways and campus traditions, enjoy a buffet menu of tailgate favorites and see Purdue Pete and members of the spirit squad and of the “All-American” Marching Band. Reserve a spot online.

Daniels, Chiang meet with members of Iranian Cultural Club

President Mitch Daniels and President-elect Mung Chiang met with members of the Iranian Cultural Club on Monday (Nov. 28). The group had reached out to the President’s Office on behalf of all Iranian students, faculty and staff seeking to discuss the situation in Iran, where the ruling regime has been violently suppressing protesters and students for nearly two months. The holiday season at Purdue kicked off Monday (Nov. 28) with the arrival of a 25-foot-tall Christmas tree at the Purdue Memorial Union's Great Hall. The annual ceremony for the lighting of the tree will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 30). Purdue President Mitch Daniels will light the tree. Share the news: Facebook, Twitter
