Human Resources presents new workplace resources website

This fall, some employees may be returning to campus for the first time since the pandemic began. They might be working a hybrid schedule – spending time both off campus and on – or they may continue to work remotely. Whatever the situation is, Human Resources is offering a new workplace resources website to help guide faculty and staff through the resources available, covering technology and equipment, mental/behavioral health and work-life integration, including child care resources.

Partnerships, community involvement increase wellness at Purdue Polytechnic High Schools

A group of students from Purdue Polytechnic High School Schweitzer Center at Englewood is tackling health and wellness issues in their community. The students worked with Purdue University professors Jasmine Gonzalvo and Sonak Pastakia and Purdue students with the College of Pharmacy’s Center for Health Equity and Innovation to explore ways to enhance student wellness.

Purdue Farmers Market set to resume Aug. 26

Purdue University Campus Planning, Architecture and Sustainability has announced that the Purdue Farmers Market is scheduled to resume on Aug. 26. The market will take place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays through Oct. 28 at Memorial Mall. It will be open to the public, and visitor parking is available in the nearby Grant Street Parking Garage at hourly rates.

Aerospace engine manufacturing giant Rolls-Royce will expand its already large footprint at Purdue, thanks to a new commitment among the University, the Purdue Research Foundation and the company.
