Provost's Office seeking nominations for Morrill Awards

The Office of the Provost is seeking nominations for the annual Morrill Awards, which recognize West Lafayette campus faculty at the rank of professor for outstanding career achievements. The deadline to submit nominations is Feb. 28.

BTN LiveBIG: A Purdue startup is building a better brain for smart technology

A Purdue-affiliated startup is designing next-generation hardware and software for deep learning aimed at enabling computers to understand the world in the same way humans do. FWDNXT, based in the Purdue Research Park, has developed a low-power mobile coprocessor called Snowflake for accelerating deep neural networks effective at image recognition and classification.
