Tips for avoiding email scams

Sophisticated phishing attempts have led to an increase in the number of individuals at Purdue falling victim to email scams. Greg Hedrick, Purdue's chief information security officer, suggests that individuals ask themselves the following questions when browsing their inbox to help determine whether an email is legitimate.
