Today's tip: Saving for emergencies
It's usually best to keep emergency savings in a bank or credit union savings account. These types of accounts offer easier access to your money than certificates of deposit and other accounts. For more information, go to www.americasaves.org/strategies/emergencies.asp or stop by the Purdue Saves table, which will be in the main lobby of Stewart Center each day this week between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
