February 20, 2009 African American studies presents talk on Toni MorrisonWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University's African American Studies and Research Center on March 5 will present "Toni Morrison, Théodore Géricault, and Incendiary Art."The talk, which is free and open to the public, will feature Nancy J. Peterson, an associate professor of English and American studies. The talk is from 3-4:30 p.m. in the Black Cultural Center's Multipurpose Room 1. The presentation is part of the Harriet A. Jacobs Series in the Humanities and the Arts. The African American Studies and Research Center is housed in the College of Liberal Arts.
