Friday Night Lights

Friday Night Lights is a program that is run by the Student Sustainability Council that works to reduce energy waste at Purdue by turning off lights in major academic buildings on Fridays to keep them from wasting energy for the entire weekend. Last year over 38,000 lights were turned off by Friday Night Lights volunteers throughout the course of the year.

We hope to continue this awesome trend in the 2015-2016 season, and you can help with the success of the program. Sign up as an individual or as a part of an organization here. Check out the video below that explains what you would be doing as an Friday Night Lights volunteer, and the perks of volunteering.

We look forward to seeing you!
