Judy Wagner and Dave Myers (IT Infrastructure Services): At 6:30 p.m. March 29, we were notified of the need to recover some data from backups that would need to be accomplished before Monday. After determining the details of what was needed, I sent an email at 9:20 p.m. to the ITIS Virtualization Platform and ITIS UNIX Platform teams requesting they perform the restore from backups sometime on Saturday. To my surprise, Judy Wagner and Dave Myers started work on the request immediately. Despite some inadequate specifications in my initial request, they were able to complete the recovery Friday night.
