Future Transfer Students

The College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS) values the perspectives and experience transfer students contribute to our College and Purdue University. What you need to know to make the transfer process easier can be found below.

Utilize HHS Transfer Guides

Transfer guides are currently available for students attending select community colleges to assist in planning their first year of coursework. We encourage you to speak with your current academic advisor and an advisor from HHS Student Services to assist in a successful transfer; we are here to assist you throughout this process. Please call (765) 494-8533 or e-mail hhsundergrad@purdue.edu (please include your intended major) to speak with a member of HHS Student Services.

Utilize the Transfer Course Equivalency Guide and Degree Requirement Sheets

For any coursework not listed on a transfer guide, or if a guide is not available for the major of interest, the Office of Admissions has software to assist in planning coursework applicable to your desired program. Current degree requirement sheets are available for all HHS majors. Please contact your current academic advisor if you need assistance.

Check Minimum Requirements for Desired Program

Programs across HHS maintain differing minimum requirements for transfer admission.

Closed Programs

Some programs are closed for specific academic terms because the course sequence necessitates that students begin in a specific term or the space is full. Please see the complete list for current availability.

Visit the Office of Admissions Transfer Website

The Applying as a Transfer Student website offers in-depth information on transfer requirements and the process of transferring to Purdue University. We strongly encourage you to utilize this website throughout your time at the community college.
