Current Research Interests:

Professor Krishnan is an auditory electrophysiologist Audiologist who joined the Purdue faculty in the fall of 1998. His research and teaching interests are concentrated in the area of auditory physiology. Specifically, Dr. Krishnan is interested in investigating electrophysiological correlates of various psychoacoustic phenomena in both normal and hearing-impaired individuals. His current research involves the evaluation of neural encoding of speech-like sounds in normal and hearing impaired individuals.

Professor Krishnan holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology and is a member of the Association for Research in Otolaryngology.
