Dr. Sonia Fahmy joins Cyber Center

We are very pleased to announce that Dr. Sonia Fahmy has joined the Cyber Center in Purdue’s Discovery Park as Scientific Director of Network Systems. Dr. Fahmy is a professor of computer science at Purdue, a member of the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS).
A graduate of Ohio State University, Dr. Fahmy joined the Purdue Computer Science Department in 1999. Her research interests lie in the design and evaluation of network architectures and protocols and she is currently investigating network simulation/emulation, Internet measurement, network security, and wireless sensor networks. She is a member of the ACM and a senior member of the IEEE.

Agrawal gave the prestigious fall public lecture for Texas A&M’s Institute for Advanced Study, for which he is a current Faculty Fellow.
