This course is a continuation of the basic concepts, organization, and implementation models taught in the Introduction to Databases and Advanced Database Queries courses. Among the topics covered are the development of objects in the database such as databases, tables, indexes, views, stored procedures and functions. Applied labs expand on the lectures to provide students with hands-on experience with a relational database management system (DBMS) and structured query language (SQL).

- Understand concurrent database processing through the use of transactions and locking
