Alex Zelikovsky is the Former Vice President of eCommerce Technology for Lowe’s Companies, Inc. In his presentation he discusses the resilience of the supply chain, specifically in the retail sector. He discusses three specific strategies that companies utilized to innovate during COVID-19, which are virtual inventory pooling, last-mile delivery, and omni-channel technology. He discusses that technology and its growing influence on the supply chain during the pandemic will only continue to increase in the future. He discusses the omni fulfillment process, what omni channel core technology enterprise order management looks like when implemented, and what options a company has when enabling omni channel strategies.
