Second provost search listening session set for Tuesday

The provost search advisory committee is dedicated to help identify an extraordinary academic leader as the next provost of Purdue University. The committee is soliciting suggestions related to the characteristics and qualifications needed for the next provost. The committee will hold an in-person session open to all members of the campus community on Tuesday (Nov. 22).

Microelectronics engineer helps ‘get the lead out’ of solder

Carol Handwerker, the Reinhardt Schuhmann Jr. Professor of Materials Engineering at Purdue, is leading research to determine when lead-free solders might be more reliable for defense systems than tin-lead solder. Purdue Memorial Union to celebrate holiday season

The holiday season at Purdue will kick off at noon Nov. 28 when the 25-foot-tall Christmas tree arrives at the Memorial Union's Great Hall. The annual ceremony for the lighting of the tree will be held at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 30. Share the news: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
