Transition steering committee named as Hummels announces plans to step down

David Hummels, the Dr. Samuel R. Allen Dean of the Krannert School of Management and Distinguished Professor of Economics, has announced his intention to step down in July 2023 after serving in the position since 2014 and leading the business school to new heights.

Naval officer complements leadership skills with Purdue Global degree

Kelvin Gumbs joined the Navy after high school, rising through the ranks to become a commissioned officer. But despite his many accomplishments, his lack of a college degree always bothered him. He decided to do something about it. After two degrees through Purdue Global, Gumbs had the confidence to retire from the Navy after 22 years of service and launch a new career.
