Persistence, perseverance required for campus community to finish strong as semester winds down

As some parts of the country experience a significant uptick in COVID-19 cases, Protect Purdue officials are encouraging students, faculty and staff to remain vigilant with final exams around the corner and commencement ceremonies just a few weeks away.

Purdue Day of Giving is today

The ninth annual Purdue Day of Giving continues through midnight tonight. This 24-hour online fundraising effort will unite the worldwide Purdue family to power the University’s next giant leap. Hourly and full-day challenges will allow donors to help their favorite participants (campus, college, school, program or student organization) climb the donation and participation leaderboards for bonus funds. Purdue, Duke Energy to explore clean, nuclear power source for campus

Purdue University and Duke Energy announced today (April 27) that they plan to jointly explore the feasibility of using advanced nuclear energy to meet the campus community’s long-term energy needs. With interest rising worldwide in new technologies that are reliable and carbon-free, Purdue and Duke Energy intend to study power produced through Small Modular Reactors (SMRs).
