Purdue to collaborate in NSF-funded Engineering Research Center to develop Internet of Things for Precision Agriculture

Purdue will be a partner in a new National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center created to develop advanced agricultural technologies to address food, energy and water security challenges. With a five-year, $26 million grant, the NSF has established the Engineering Research Center for the Internet of Things for Precision Agriculture (IoT4Ag). Engineering Research Centers (ERCs) are NSF’s flagship engineering program for convergent research to address large-scale societal challenges.

Extension's Casey Mull assists in honoring late U.S. representative

Casey Mull, assistant director of Purdue Extension and Indiana 4-H youth development program leader, was placed on military orders by the Air Force Reserve in Georgia to assist in honoring the death of longtime U.S. Rep. John Lewis. Mull serves as deputy chief of public affairs for the 94th Airlift Wing at Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta, Georgia.
