present their proposals today

Discovery Park’s Big Idea Challenge 2.0 finalists will present their proposals today (May 7) to a panel of judges that will determine the winning teams. The presentations are scheduled to take place beginning at 1 p.m. in the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, Room 121.

Top students to be recognized during 2019 commencement

Purdue will honor some of its highest academic-achieving graduating seniors May 10-12 during commencement ceremonies. The University’s top female and male students are Olivia R. Glowacki from the College of Health and Human Sciences and Justin L. Couetil from the School of Management and College of Agriculture.

New digital filter approach
could move novel drugs
to clinical trials faster

Precise measurements are critical to the discovery, development and usage of medications. A Purdue professor and expert in measurement science has led a team to design a new filter aimed at helping drug developers and researchers create more exact measurements early in the drug development stage, which ultimately can help move a drug to clinical trials faster.

Purdue prepares for new
Veterinary Teaching
Hospital

Plans are moving forward for the construction of a new Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Purdue, replacing a majority of the current hospital with larger, state-of-the-art facilities and services. The new hospital, which will be just east of Lynn Hall (drawing looks south across Harrison Street), will consist of small and large animal facilities, including a new equine hospital and farm animal hospital.
