The transfer of health savings account funds from PayFlex to HSA Bank is complete for those who opted to have funds transferred. To verify the amount of the transfer, employees can review previous account statements at payflex.com.

Purdue’s sesquicentennial celebration is a time to spotlight Purdue’s people – past and present – for the world, and draw a daring vision for the future. The centerpiece of the campaign is an Ideas Festival, which connects world-renowned speakers and Purdue expertise in a conversation on the most critical problems and opportunities facing our world. February was packed with exciting opportunities to learn and ponder through Giant Leaps Series and Ideas Festival events.

Purdue professors named
to 2020 Dietary Guidelines
Advisory Committee

Two Purdue professors were named to the national committee that provides recommendations that shapes the American diet. Richard “Rick” Mattes, distinguished professor of nutrition science, and Regan Bailey, associate professor of nutrition science, were selected by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and U.S. Department of Agriculture to serve on the 2020 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee.

In discussing his thoughts and feelings about life, work, food – and his student experience at Purdue – alum Ted Allen entertained a packed Loeb Playhouse. The host of the Food Network’s “Chopped” earned his degree in psychology from Purdue in 1987. He has gone on to a charmed and variety-filled career as a national-class writer, Emmy award winner, professional foodie and host of a popular television program.
