Finalists for University registrar to make
on-campus presentations
Three finalists for University registrar will be on Purdue's West Lafayette campus for one-day interviews, the search committee announced today (July 16). As part of the process, finalists also will make a 30-minute public presentation and then take questions from the audience.

Purdue researchers developing device that detects mosquito-borne diseases
A startup created by Purdue University professors is developing a sensor that can detect dangerous mosquito-borne tropical diseases faster and at a lower cost than current methods, giving health officials time to take action before the viruses are transmitted to humans. SMK Diagnostics has created biosensor technology to identify and monitor diseases such as Zika and dengue. In the photo: Professor Lia Stanciu, one of the founders of SMK Diagnostics.
